NEW YORK, March 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Haier has announced the expansion of its operations in the Americas with the planned opening of a new headquarters in Wayne, N.J. in the third quarter of 2014.

"We are building an organization better suited to support our customers and consumers through a more holistic consumer-centric approach and the new facility will foster this collaboration."

Renovations are underway on the 56,000 square-foot facility at 1800 Valley Road which will be redesigned over the next few months and be home to Haier America's current staff with room for future expansion. The space will include a new showroom, training centers and customer service operations.
