Calgary Chiropractic at Acadia Wellness Centre Welcomes New Staff Members

CALGARY, Alberta, March 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Calgary Chiropractic at Acadia Wellness Centre announces that it has welcomed massage therapist Jon-Michael Bertoli and chiropractor Dr. Noah Beaudry to its practice. The chiropractic clinic offers a range of services that include pain management and massage therapy.

Jon-Michael Bertoli RMT, massage therapist, will bring techniques to the clinic that include relaxation, deep tissue, and sports massage, and the treatment of musculoskeletal and systemic conditions and injuries. Bertoli also performs special therapeutic massages, such as prenatal and pregnancy massage, and he is one of the few massage therapists in Calgary with research experience in using massage therapy to treat thoracic outlet syndrome. Bertoli says his mission is to "use the most advanced massage therapy techniques available to relieve back pain in Calgary."

Bertoli explains that he decided to become a massage therapist while working in his family's construction company. He says, "I watched as my father suffered from pain and deteriorating health resulting from intense physical labor. This experience inspired me to seek a career in massage therapy, where I can bring relief to those in pain."

Dr. Noah Beaudry focused his chiropractic education on Exercise and Health Physiology while he was a student at University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. As an avid camper and hiker, Dr. Beaudry says he strives to help each of his patients lead an active, healthy lifestyle by relieving their pain. Dr. Beaudry has earned several awards during his years in school and in practice, including graduating Magna Cum Laude, a position on the President's List each of his four years in school, Clinical Excellence Award and Medallion, and the Integrative Change award.

Dr. Travis Cox of Calgary Chiropractic at Acadia Wellness Centre says, "We are especially excited to welcome these new professionals to our staff because of the special services they provide. Because of the active lifestyle here, back pain in Calgary keeps our office very busy. Jon-Michael Bertoli and Dr. Noah Beaudry each bring valuable skills to our team – we and our patients are just thrilled that Mr. Bertoli and Dr.  Beaudry chose to practice in our clinic."

Dr. Cox says the people of Calgary love to stay active, participating in hockey, biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, camping, and fishing. He adds, "Calgary citizens are some of the hardest working people around. All this work and play add up to a lot of achy muscles and musculoskeletal problems." The Calgary chiropractors have responded to the need for more pain management care and treatments by expanding their practice to add the new staff members.

Calgary Chiropractic at Acadia Wellness Centre provides quality chiropractic care, massage therapy, and other advanced approaches to treat a variety of conditions, including back pain in Calgary. The clinic is conveniently located off of Deerfoot and Macleod Trail in Acadia.
