Web Event Highlights Value of a Holistic Approach to Mechanical Integrity Beyond OSHA PSM Compliance

HOUSTON, March 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MechanicalIntegrityCompliance.com announces its complimentary web event entitled How a Holistic Approach to Mechanical Integrity Delivers Value Beyond OSHA PSM Compliance. Engineering and mechanical integrity experts Russ Davis and Vince Carucci — with a special keynote address by Walt Lambertin — discuss the added value a one-source approach to Mechanical Integrity (MI) provides to petrochemical, chemical and refining plant assets beyond OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements. The webcast airs live April 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. ET online at MechanicalIntegrityCompliance.com, where a replay of the event will also be available.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Keynote speaker Walt Lambertin has more than 40 years of experience as a refinery technical support specialist in reliability, maintenance, mechanical, and materials engineering – including a 34-year career with Exxon Research & Engineering (ERE) company as Worldwide Maintenance Manager. Lambertin's address highlights the importance of compliance and the subsequent avoidance of fines – since most of which are levied as a result of MI and PSM deficiencies.

Mechanical integrity and asset reliability specialist Russ Davis presents the benefits of a holistic MI approach while detailing the added value it presents. MISTRAS Group's Davis has spent his more-than-25-year career designing, implementing and optimizing MI programs globally with extensive experience in Process Safety Management, hazard assessment, and consequence evaluation.

Forty-year engineering expert Vince Carucci, the event's moderator, had a 16-year career at Exxon Research & Engineering (ERE) as a mechanical engineering solutions specialist working on a variety of storage and piping assets before starting Carmagen Engineering, Inc. in 1986. Carucci will also host an audience-driven question-and-answer session during the event.
