The companies are actively building their bench of hosts and working with educational institutions to communicate American Homestay Network's (AHN) unique offerings and approach. Entrepreneurs have opened agencies in Arizona, Illinois and North Carolina - which also serves eastern Virginia - and expanded in Ohio to offer a fully managed solution for host families and international students. These new agencies join AHN's existing agencies servicing Washington, Oregon and Georgia.

American Homestay Network announced its intention to rapidly increase national expansion in February, 2014. To date, three new agencies have graduated from AHN's Homestay Academy ™ and a fourth has expanded. These include:
· Arizona: Tracy Todaro will work with universities like Arizona State and others from Phoenix to Tucson, and help families identify expanded cultural and income opportunities.
· Illinois: Nancy Kramer will work from her Chicago office helping students attending the major universities here, and also those enhancing their English language skills at schools like Solex College.
· North Carolina and Eastern Virginia: from his office in Chapel Hill, NC, Tom Martineau will cover not only the universities in the Triangle, but all those from Greensboro, NC right up through Richmond, Fairfax and Northern Virginia.
· Ohio: Dave
Lane is adding Columbus, Dayton and Toledo to his existing work in
Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, helping students who come to
study at schools such as Northern Kentucky University and
Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
