Industry Veteran Mike McCrory Joins P2 Board of Directors

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Apr 3, 2014) - P2 Energy Solutions ("P2") is pleased to welcome Mike McCrory, a recognized veteran in the upstream oil and gas space, to its team. McCrory, IHS Energy's former president and COO, recently joined the P2 Board of Directors and will work with the entire P2 team and the other members of the board to help P2 and its customers achieve their short- and long-term business objectives.

McCrory served in multiple capacities during his tenure at IHS, including as senior vice president of new market development, vice president of global marketing and vice president of various core business units. He's currently an independent consultant and has worked with a number of companies, from small start-ups to Fortune 100s.

McCrory said much has changed in the upstream sector in recent years, but one principle will always remain: For companies to succeed, "they must get the right people and empower them with the right tools, products and information." That information, he said, includes complete, accurate and current geospatial data, which upstream professionals use to reduce their risks when making strategic investment decisions.

McCrory graduated in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Colorado. He has two daughters, Caitlin and Rachael.
