LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2014) - The Candidate Experience Awards, a non-profit organisation focused on advancing the employment candidate experience, today announced that registration for the 2014 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards is now open.
The U.K. CandE Awards is an annual benchmarking and recognition programme designed to acknowledge employers that meet, and exceed, the standard set for candidate experience excellence. Employers that recruit in the British employment marketplace can begin the confidential and complimentary registration process by visiting: http://bit.ly/1mRQqNE.
"As more organisations realise the impact that candidate experience has on how they recruit new talent to their companies, we look forward to honouring those companies that are meeting and exceeding candidate expectations in their everyday practises," said Elaine Orler, chairman and co-founder of Talent Board and president and founder of Talent Function. "Now embarking on its third year, the U.K. Candidate Experience Awards are excited to invite employers across all industries and of all sizes to gain a deeper understanding of their talent acquisition processes and what they truly are accomplishing."
The programme consists of three rounds of review designed to identify organisations that meet candidate expectations and provide value to job seekers throughout the talent acquisition process. Round One is a multi-dimensional survey designed to capture and evaluate the nominated company's recruitment processes and practises impacting the candidate experience. Those that meet the standard for candidate experience will be invited to participate in the second round, where a random sampling of the company's 2014 job candidates will be surveyed.
All participating organisations receive benchmarking data that will allow them to compare their candidate experience against an aggregate of all the entrants. Companies that meet criteria for both survey rounds will be recognised as CandE Award winners. Companies with interesting and unique practises will be advanced to the final round and interviewed by the CandE Awards judging panel to determine areas of distinction. All CandE Award winners will be celebrated at a special Candidate Experience Awards ceremony.
Victoria Lawes, Head of Experienced Hire Recruitment for Deloitte, a 2013 U.K. CandEs winner, said, "The benchmarking data and feedback we received from the previous CandE Awards programme has been of tremendous value to our organisation as we continue to engage with candidates and improve our recruiting processes. We are eager to participate in the CandE Awards programme again this year."
