MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwired - Apr 17, 2014) - Scribe Software, an established global provider of software and cloud solutions that easily bring customer data anywhere, today announced a strong start to 2014 -- ending the first quarter with record sales, new partnerships and industry accolades. Now firmly established as a data integration leader, Scribe is changing how integration is done by offering comprehensive connections to most leading business applications through its embedded integration platform, Scribe Online.
"As companies realize the role of real-time data integration in facilitating customer engagement by providing a complete snapshot of the customer, they are making it a mission-critical initiative," said Holger Mueller, Principal Analyst and VP, Constellation Research, Inc. "As companies look to incorporate new and old ways of engaging with customers, they need solutions that can bring together new and legacy customer data sources. Customers seek platforms that connect relevant business applications to arm employees throughout an organization -- regardless of if it is a global company, small business or government agency -- with the comprehensive insight needed to deliver more personalized, targeted interactions that drive the bottom line."
In Q1 2014, Scribe continued to build on its record-breaking Scribe Online sales success in 2013. Driven by the continued market adoption of the platform and a significant increase in ISV/OEM deals, the company's Scribe Online bookings grew 426 percent in Q1 2014 from the same time last year. Scribe doubled its customer base to over 400 Scribe Online subscribers and increased the number of active-selling partners to more than 40. In addition, Scribe grew its overall presence in the Public Sector and EMEA over Q1 2013 (37 percent and 25 percent respectively).
Platform Innovation Delivers Sales Results
A core pillar of Scribe's continued growth is its focus on technology innovation -- creating a platform through which ISVs can increase the stickiness of their SaaS applications through integration; and value-added resellers and system integrators can craft repeatable business solutions that address industry challenges and horizontal workloads through effective data integration.
In the first quarter of 2014, Scribe added real-time cloud data integration capabilities to its award-winning Scribe Online platform. The platform now empowers customers to easily create unified business processes requiring real-time data integration, mash up customer information from various sources and applications, and uncover critical customer information from various sources.
"The growth and disruption of the cloud is causing line-of-business users and IT professionals, as well as systems integrators and ISVs, to view and value cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-premise integration differently," said Scribe CEO Lou Guercia. "Our unique focus on building an integration platform for partners and customers to build holistic business solutions that interconnect with ease really differentiates Scribe Online in the market, and its rapid adoption is proof. Thanks to Scribe's remarkable team, I don't think any other private data integration provider can match our continued growth, product innovation, partner ecosystem and positive cash flow."
Strategic Partnerships Drive Growth
Through its innovative technology, Scribe provides a cloud-based, ready-made solution that serves as the embedded integration layer for major ISVs, SIs and VARs. Tapping the power of Scribe's connectivity platform, partners are increasingly using it as the foundation of customized solutions for key markets to solve data integration challenges, deliver real-time, cross-channel customer insight, and create business value. Scribe also saw a 153 percent growth over Q1 2013 in the number of partners reselling Scribe Online.
"With huge amounts of customer data residing throughout and outside of an organization, it's critical that marketers have tools to fully leverage the power of that data to transform their marketing efforts," said Arjun Moorthy, VP of Business Development and Channel Sales at HubSpot. "The integration between Scribe Online and HubSpot provides our customers with a simple and fast way to integrate critical data and impact their business results."
Further expanding its comprehensive set of deep data connectors in Q1, Scribe now offers an easy way to integrate CRM and marketing automation data to improve the effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns with leading inbound marketing platform HubSpot. Scribe also announced a connector with business intelligence (BI) solution provider Qlik that quickly extracts data from core business applications and gives QlikView users ready access to critical data -- regardless of where it resides. Strengthening its reach into core markets, the company also signed strategic partnerships with leaders spanning sales, retail and life sciences arenas, including: Cegedim, a leading CRM solutions provider in the life sciences vertical; Melissa Data, a primary provider of contact data quality, data enrichment and direct marketing solutions; Nodus, the industry-leading provider of secure electronic payment technology, simplifying eCommerce and business process automation; and TinderBox, a leading sales automation solution that increases sales productivity with trackable, data-driven sales documents.
"Scribe Online serves as the gateway between our marketing and sales teams. Viewing data generated by both business functions greatly enhances our ability to generate leads and close business," noted Christopher T. Hoar, President, Fleet Services. Read the full case study here.
