ATLANTA, GA., April 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Leading specialist insurer Beazley is expanding its US builders risk team, recruiting Denise Abshire, a highly experienced builders risk underwriter, to join the firm's San Francisco office. She will report to the manager of Beazley's US builders risk team, Tom Warner, who is based in Atlanta.
Ms Abshire joins Beazley from Zurich North America where she was a senior account underwriter handling large project and contractor master programs. She has over 14 years of experience working in the San Francisco Bay area within the builders risk and property sectors.

Beazley began underwriting builders risk business in the US in 2009. The firm's specialist underwriters, with a combination of US and London experience, underwrite all types of complex construction projects for US clients working in the US and internationally.
