These three pioneers of exploration will speak at a RamsayBreakfast on Thursday, May 8 on how climate change is radically altering the world of exploration and adventure.
Sven Lindblad is the founder of the Lindblad Expeditions who partner with National Geographic on small-ship expeditions to some of the most remote places on earth, including Canada's High Arctic. Dr. Roberta Bondar is Canada's first woman astronaut , a renowned environmental photographer and the founder of the Roberta Bondar Foundation which promotes environmental education. Dr. Joe MacInnis is the noted explorer, author, broadcaster, diver and most recently, the journalist-physician on James Cameron's 7-mile science dive into the Mariana Trench.
All of them have passionate, expert and compelling views on the changing nature of our world and how we explore it.
