ComRent Acquires Company's Largest Licensee; Strengthening Market Leadership

UPPER MARLBORO, MD--(Marketwired - Apr 29, 2014) - ComRent, the global leader in load bank solutions, announced today that the company has completed the acquisition of its largest licensee, the regional provider ComRent West, which has exclusively serviced California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii since 2005. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

As the largest provider of temporary load banks to industries that can't afford any interruption of their power systems -- including utilities, data centers, government / military applications and healthcare facilities -- ComRent is seeking, through this acquisition, to consolidate enterprise assets and service coverage. This will provide their clients with a higher level of expertise and direct access to resources, particularly for large commissioning and load testing projects across North America.
