WINDSOR, Conn., May 6, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, today announced the appointment of Stephan M. Petrov, MBA, to the newly created position of Treasurer, effective immediately.
With over 20 years of treasury and financial experience, Petrov joins SS&C from his treasury consulting role for PMC Treasury Inc. Prior to joining PMC, Petrov served as Treasury Director for CIGNA Corporation and Director of Treasury Operations for Odyssey American Reinsurance Corporation. Previously, Petrov also held a number of financial positions including at Alstom Power. Petrov will report to SS&C's Chief Financial Officer, Patrick Pedonti.

Petrov earned a BS in Finance from the University of Bridgeport, with an MBA from Sacred Heart University and an Advanced Business Certificate in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
