Radware Integrates Service Security With Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure

Radware Offers Solution to Help Simplify IT Tasks -- Becomes ACI-Compliant Ecosystem Partner

SAN FRANCISCO, May 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today at Cisco Live, Cisco's annual IT and communications conference, Radware®(Nasdaq:RDWR), a leading provider of application delivery and application security solutions for virtual and cloud data centers, announced it is offering a solution that provides an application aware architecture that can dynamically respond to business critical application needs and security requirements.

Integrating Radware's application delivery controller (ADC) and Attack Mitigation and DDOS protection solutions into Cisco's Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Radware has fully aligned with the application and open strategy that characterizes ACI to become an ACI-compliant ecosystem partner. ACI is a holistic architecture with centralized automation and policy-driven application profiles. ACI delivers software flexibility with the scalability of hardware performance.

"Integrating our product portfolio with Cisco's ACI, we can provide great automation to simplify IT tasks so applications can be deployed faster and more efficiently, with application security, visibility, intelligence and optimization," says David Aviv, vice president of advanced solutions, Radware.

With centralized automation and policy-driven application profiles, application delivery and application security services can be automated based on application policies, with dynamic reprovisioning of resources without network reconfiguration or service relocation.

Radware's ADC and DDoS protection is working to integrate with Cisco's application policy infrastructure controller (APIC) which is a unifying point of application policy automation and management across the Data Center. Cisco's APIC will provide centralized access to all fabric information, optimizes the application lifecycle for scale and performance, and supports flexible application provisioning across physical and virtual resources.
