TROY, Mich., May 27, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Madison County, Ala. is implementing modern software and technology from a proven local government software partner. The County selected New World Systems' suite of Logos.NET™ Public Administration solutions last year to replace their aging financial system and increase efficiency. Several weeks ago, Madison County went live on New World's Logos.NET Financial Management software and saw the benefits of the new system right away.

"The first day I was able to fulfill a request for budget information in two minutes. This task used to be very manual and take more than 30 minutes. In addition to Logos.NET Financial Management, New World is also providing Madison County with Logos.NET Payroll and Human Resources, eSuite, and Decision Support and Business Analytics software built on the Microsoft.NET platform. New World's software meets the County's need to consolidate financial, payroll and employee information into a single, easy-to-use software package. By saving time, reducing paperwork and providing accurate financial information with the new software, the County is able to save money and do more with less. Once fully implemented, New World's software will also streamline budget planning and reporting and provide grant and project accounting capabilities.
