NEW CORPORATE BOND ISSUE OF DKK 500M COMPLETED

Copenhagen, 2014-06-04 15:38 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Announcement no. 38

Today, DFDS has issued a five-year DKK 500m senior unsecured bond maturing in June 2019. The bond has been sold to a wide range of primarily Danish institutional investors.

“We have experienced an increasing interest for a DKK-denominated bond issue and we are therefore very pleased that our third corporate bond issue has allowed us to accommodate this investor demand”, says Torben Carlsen, CFO of DFDS.

The bond issue is part of an ongoing process to optimize DFDS’ financing structure. DFDS has previously issued corporate bonds of NOK 500m in April 2012 and NOK 700m in March 2013.

The bond has been issued with a floating rate in DKK of a three month CIBOR interest rate plus 163 basis points.

Similarly to the 2012 and 2013 bond issues, the new bond will be listed on Oslo Børs (Oslo Stock Exchange). Danske Bank A/S and Nordea Markets have acted as joint lead managers of the bond issue.
