Pokorney will lead a new business unit focused on growing the company's chronic pain management services. He will report to Chief Sales Officer Kevin Turner and be based in Arizona.
As a clinical executive and pharmacist, Pokorney is well qualified to capitalize on Paradigm's proven biopsychosocial approach to managing complex and chronic pain claims. Pokorney spent the past nine years working for Express Scripts, Inc. In his last position there, he served as the Clinical Director of their workers' compensation division and held responsibility for all clinical offerings, client satisfaction, sales and operations. He also worked as the Senior Manager of pharmacy operations and as a Clinical Account Executive. Prior to Express Scripts, Pokorney was a District Pharmacy Manager for the Walgreen Company. He is a registered pharmacist and holds a bachelor's degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
