Highly Recognized Trial Attorney Joins Paley Rothman

Lastra, a highly recognized trial attorney with over 20 years of experience representing clients in domestic disputes, has joined the firm as Principal, effective July 1, 2014. Named as a top "Divorce Attorney" by Washingtonian and Bethesda Magazine, Lastra will provide additional depth to the firm's Family Law practice in divorce, alimony, custody, child support, paternity and property distribution cases, as well as matters involving high net worth individuals and complex domestic relations issues.

While in law school, he was a Certified Legal Intern, prosecuting felony cases for the Law Offices of Janet Reno, Miami-Dade State's Attorney. He also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Leonard M. Rivikind. Lastra is licensed to practice in Maryland, Florida and the District of Columbia; the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals; and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District and Middle District of Florida.
