BevMo! Unveils New, Beautifully Remodeled Store in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 15, 2014) - With summer in full swing, it's BevMo! to the rescue with a stunning store remodel and reopening that makes it even easier to find and enjoy your favorite chilled wine, cold brew or refreshing cocktails in a convenient location. The Van Ness store remodel brings incredible amenities, including a fully-stocked wine vault, a specialized beer tasting area and free on-site parking, making shopping for upcoming summer events easier than ever.

Located at 1301 Van Ness Ave. in the heart of San Francisco, the newly designed BevMo! store will celebrate its unveiling and reopening from Friday, Aug. 1 to Sunday, Aug. 3. Through the complete transformation, the 20,000 square foot store has nearly doubled in size and will feature a revitalized selection of wines, beers and spirits, hundreds of gourmet food items, cocktail mixers, glassware, bar accessories, an assortment of cigars, cards, giftware and more, providing city residents with everything they need to soak up and enjoy the summer in style.

The new, larger location makes it even easier for shoppers to peruse the aisles while looking for their wine, beer or spirit of choice. Locals will enjoy the new wine tasting room and vault, perfect for BevMo!'s regular weekend tastings and wine makers events, as well as a new beer tasting area called Room 22. In celebration of 22oz beers, Room 22 is the ideal place to pick up a few refrigerated craft brews for the weekend. San Francisco residents will be particularly pleased by the ease and convenience of the on-site parking garage above the store. Accessible off Sutter Ave., store-goers can park their vehicle and access the store by elevator, so they can easily stock up on all their needs.

To celebrate the unveiling of the all-new store, Bevmo! will host numerous in-store events at the renovated location on Van Ness, including demonstrations and tasting from popular brewers, distillers and vineyards. On Friday afternoon, KFOG 104.5, San Francisco's leading rock station, will kick off their annual "Local Music Month" by broadcasting live from the store from 3-6 p.m. Residents can also join BevMo! and Wine Spectator at the upcoming Eat Drink SF festival on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 at Fort Mason Center.
