NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., July 15, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Where will your watch take you? Climb higher, go further, dive deeper, and see brighter! No more limitations with your watch!
ArmourLite Watch Company makes some of the most durable tritium illuminated watches on the market. Powering a majority of those watches is one of the most reliable Swiss movements on the market, the Ronda 715Li.
The Ronda 715Li analog quartz movements are made in Switzerland and feature a lithium battery that lasts 10 years. The CR2016 3V battery takes up the entire backside of the movement and results in the watch having to be opened only once every 10 years for battery replacement. Less time in a repair shop and more time on your wrist!
The Ronda 715Li also features 5 jewels, which help reduce friction. The low, predictable friction of a jewel surface reduces variations in the rate of timekeeping. Jewels are key to increasing accuracy in a watch.
Established in the Basel region is 1946, Ronda is one of the world's largest manufacturers of precision electronic watch movements. Ronda produces two versions of the 715Li: a Swiss Made version that is completely made in Switzerland and a Swiss Parts version that is made in Thailand with Swiss parts. ArmourLite is proud to use the Swiss Made version guaranteeing a genuine Swiss movement of the highest quality and bearing traditional watch making excellence.
"With the Ronda 715Li we are able to offer watches that provide 10 years of maintenance-free operation," explains Ashley Diener, CEO of ArmourLite. "This unique feature is vital for military personnel who are overseas and have limited access to a watch maintenance facility."
The Swiss Ronda 715Li movement is currently found in some of the ArmourLite Professional Series watches, all the ArmourLite Colorburst Series watches, all the ArmourLite Captain Field Series watches, and all the Isobrite 100 Series, Valor Series and Eclipse Series watches.
