NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 16, 2014) - BNP Paribas and Drobny Global Advisors, a leading independent macro advisory firm, will sponsor the second annual Macro Summer School July 17-18, 2014 at the Gansevoort Hotel in New York City. This training program is intended to accelerate the professional development of junior buy-side professionals.
The program is designed for attendees to build industry knowledge, and be mentored by experienced portfolio managers on macro market disciplines, investment ideas, and career paths.
The annual Macro Summer School is part of a broader BNP Paribas initiative to support clients early in their careers and provide a platform to network and build industry knowledge. Dr. Laurence Meyer, former Governor of the Federal Reserve Board and co-founder of MacroAdvisers, will deliver a keynote presentation titled, "Inside the Halls of the FOMC" at the evening session on Thursday, July 17.
