About the Hugs for Brady Foundation
The Hugs for Brady Foundation started shortly after Sherrie and Michael Wells' 13-month-old son, Brady Michael, was diagnosed with Undifferentiated Acute Leukemia, a very rare form of leukemia. The Hugs for Brady Foundation's goal is simple, to help in any and every way possible to ease the pain of the children and their families who have cancer. "We pledge that every dollar donated will be spent in the pursuit to help find a cure for pediatric cancer," said Sherrie Wells, founder of the Hugs for Brady Foundation.

From buying custom-built wagons, computers, TVs, video games, to the funding of New Jersey's first Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Young Investigator program, every dollar donated is spent in the pursuit to make the lives of children with cancer better. The Hugs for Brady Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, supporting all causes concerning pediatric cancer. No child is turned away, no matter what their financial status or if they do not have health insurance. According to the Hugs for Brady Foundation's calculations, it costs about $10,000 day to be a patient on the pediatric oncology floor.
