The company enhanced the EHR platform with new features as part of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services EHR Incentive Program, i.e. Meaningful Use. InfoGard Laboratories completed the platform certification review. Some of the new features within the platform which meets the Stage 2 requirements are:
1. Additional health education, giving additional information on drugs, allergies and lab results.
2. Direct Messaging: Secure messaging for transitions of care and patient referrals between medical providers compatible with other software.
3. Secure electronic messaging to communicate with patients.
4. Provide patients access to view online, download and transmit their health information.
5. Expanded medical codes vocabulary.
6. Family history and smoking status tracking.
7. Additional immunization compatibility: Vaccine information.
