BURBANK, CA--(Marketwired - July 30, 2014) - Will Rogers Institute welcomes Jeff Bridges as their 2014 Summer Theatrical Fundraising Campaign Spokesperson. Bridges stars in the upcoming film adaptation of science fiction novel, The Giver, in theaters on August 15, 2014. The summer fundraising campaign, taking place in movie theaters across the United States, is a time-honored tradition that began in 1936 and featured James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart and Bette Davis in the first public service announcement. The Will Rogers Institute is proud to continue this longstanding tradition with the help and generosity of Bridges, and invites you to get involved as well.
This summer, filmgoers can give little lives a fighting chance by donating to the Will Rogers Institute Neonatal Program at participating theaters. How can you help?
- See your name in lights. Purchase a Pin-up and in return for your donation, you will have the opportunity to write your name on our Hollywood themed "Pin-up" that will be displayed on boards throughout theater lobbies.
- Snack up! Purchase a Special Combo at the Concession Stand.
- Round up your purchase and donate the spare change to a good cause!
Your family can make a difference and help save the lives of premature babies.
Will Rogers Institute sends a special thank you to Jeff Bridges and to participating theaters and sponsors for their continued support of the summer fundraising campaign!
