Keller Rohrback L.L.P. Announces Class Action Complaint Filed on Behalf of Select Purchasers and Users of ExamSoft Worldwide, Inc.'s "SoftTest" Bar Exam Program

SEATTLE, Aug. 6, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Keller Rohrback L.L.P. recently filed a class action complaint in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, on behalf of proposed classes of individuals who purchased or used ExamSoft's "SoftTest" program for use in the Summer 2014 bar exam. The bar exam, administered by state bar associations nationwide, is the test that all aspiring attorneys must take to be licensed to practice law.

On July 29, 2014, exam test takers completed the first day of the bar exam, however, the SoftTest program failed to perform its sole function as it made it impossible for exam takers to turn in their completed exams. Plaintiffs in the ExamSoft litigation allege that the Defendant failed to provide software and associated services of the standard and quality advertised and failed to provide the services the Company purported to offer. Rather than admitting it failed and refund money to Plaintiffs, ExamSoft instead asserted that it has a "very strict no refund policy" that prevented them from refunding exam takers' money.
