International Speedway Corporation Selects CrowdOptic Software to Power Live Google Glass Broadcasting at Racing Events

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - August 20, 2014) - Software maker CrowdOptic today announced it has teamed up with International Speedway Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select Market: ISCA; OTC Bulletin Board: ISCB) ("ISC") to broadcast live racing action and behind-the-scenes footage seen through Google Glass.

Fans will get a glimpse of both the pre-race events and the racing action from points of view of VIPs and Industry Insiders -- all streaming their live points of view through Google Glass. "This will offer never-before-seen views of the racing action," said Brandon McNulty, ISC Chief Technology Officer.

"We are privileged to be working with ISC to engage their fans, and what better way than by actually seeing through the eyes of Insiders that are in unique vantage points that a fan normally wouldn't be able to access," said CrowdOptic Vice President of Business Development Jim Kovach. "Even in the setting of the large racing venue, we can create the feeling of being right up close and inside the action."

CrowdOptic software, which analyzes and edits the Google Glass streaming video footage in real time and powers broadcasts to venue jumbotrons, network TV and social media, is set to launch at an ISC racing event in mid-September, 2014. ISC selected CrowdOptic software due to its ability to tackle broadcasting in the highest-density RFID environments.
