Video System Capabilities Extended to Fire Department
The VidTac® software-driven system uses the power of existing in-vehicle computers and eliminates the need for a separate DVR (digital video recorder). Its ultra-compact camera (3 by 2.5 by 2 inches) simultaneously captures both full-motion HD video and high-resolution five megapixel still images. The system records at resolutions of up to 1080p, which provides more than 10 times the image detail of standard resolution analog cameras. By eliminating the need for a DVR, the VidTac system sells for about half the price of other high-end systems on the market.
