Anord Critical Power Expands Operational Team

New Hires to Help Grow Company's Engineering and Field Service


RICHMOND, VA--(Marketwired - Sep 30, 2014) - Anord Critical Power, Inc., a leading independent provider of critical power infrastructure to the global data center industry, today announced the company is expanding its senior management and operational support teams. Patrick Burke and James Randall join the company as Engineering Director and Field Service Engineer, respectively.

As Engineering Director, Patrick Burke will be stationed at Anord's headquarters in Ireland and will build on Anord's success, continuing to develop and execute the strategy for the Engineering department. He brings over 30 years of extensive engineering and management experience to the business, including a number of years operating within the U.S. data center sector. Burke's proven track record in strategic and operational leadership offers a wealth of experience in managing customer awareness, the ability to develop innovative solutions to client requirements and proficiency in the management of change. Burke is an engineer by primary qualifications and holds a Masters degree in Management Practice from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

Anord recently launched its U.S. headquarters in Henrico County, Virginia, with a $1 million investment focused on developing a full-scale manufacturing facility to introduce the U.S. data center sector to its AMS Switchgear products. Today's announcement supports this focus with the addition of key personnel tasked with driving new business.

James Randall joins Anord as Field Service Engineer in the U.S. with responsibilities for equipment support. Prior to joining Anord, Randall served eight years in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Electrician Mate, performing duties in nuclear propulsion plants operating reactor control, propulsion and power generation systems.
