2014 Best of the Web and Digital Government Achievement Awards Announced by the Center for Digital Government


SACRAMENTO, CA--(Marketwired - October 07, 2014) - e.Republic's Center for Digital Government has announced the winners of the 2014 Best of the Web and Digital Government Achievement Awards

In its 19th year, the annual Best of the Web (BOW) awards recognize city, county and state governments for outstanding portals and websites based on innovation, functionality, productivity and performance. This year's first-place BOW winners are the District of Columbia, taking first place for the third time since 2003; Oakland County, Mich., a first-place winner also in 2008; and the State of Hawaii, a first-time first-place winner in the state category.

The Digital Government Achievement Awards (DGAA) highlight outstanding agency and department websites and applications. Awards were presented in eight categories this year.
