Patients Experience Faster Recoveries and Shorter Stays at Bone & Joint Rehabilitation Institute in Dearborn

DEARBORN, MI--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2014) - Before John Goch, 62, received a hip replacement at Oakwood Heritage hospital last month, he described his pain level as 10 plus, every day, all day.

His determination and positive attitude made my job 100 percent easier."

Goch agreed that he did everything the therapists asked him to do, realizing that their guidance helped him get up and walking with only the assistance of a cane by the second day. As a result of this teamwork between patient and therapists, he was able to go home within seven days following his surgery.

Goch's diligence in following his care plan helped make his stay on the short end of the spectrum.
