WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Oct 20, 2014) - Apprio Inc., a leading provider of specialized technology solutions, particularly for the health, defense and homeland security markets, today announced the company's recent growth has led to its opening a second office in the Washington, D.C., area. The new office is in the northern Virginia suburb of Tysons Corner.
Apprio has experienced significant growth within the past four years, leading to its being recognized as one of the fastest growing companies according to Inc. Magazine, the Washington Business Journal and Deloitte Consulting. Apprio also won significant contracts with the federal government within the last six months, which led to many new hires and the need to grow its office footprint.
"The new Tysons office will allow our expanded staff to work with Apprio clients and partners in the D.C. area," said Darryl F. Britt, Apprio's president and CEO. "Tysons Corner is an ideal location for us -- with the mass transportation now available in the area, customers and employees have many options for reaching our Tysons office. We wanted to select a location that was easy to reach, was central to D.C., Maryland and Virginia, and that would provide us with enough real estate to continue on our growth trajectory. The Apprio Tysons office met all those criteria."
The new Tysons office address is 1951 Kidwell Drive, Suite 250, Vienna, Va. This growing area of Virginia is about 13 miles from Washington, D.C., and home to the recently opened Metro Silver Line that has five area Metro stops. The office will accommodate Apprio subject matter experts, professional staff and support personnel.
