Another Broken Egg Cafe Hatches in Jacksonville's Tapestry Park with Events to Raise Money for Two Nonprofits

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 20, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jake Alleman, franchisee and managing partner of Cojak Investments, LLC is pleased to announce the Monday, November 3, 2014 opening of Jacksonville's first Another Broken Egg Cafe (ABEC) in Tapestry Park, 4820 Deer Lake Drive West Jacksonville, FL 32246. The upscale 2,642 square-foot southern inspired breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch restaurant will have seating for 72 inside and an additional 83 seats on the expansive outdoor patio.

The public is invited to come dine at no charge for two fundraising events as part of the grand opening festivities. October 31, from 9 AM to 1 PM, supports PACE Center for Girls http://www.pacecenter.org. PACE provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy. November 1, from 9 AM to 1 PM, benefits Big Brothers, Big Sisters of NE Florida www.bbbsnefl.org. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Guests dining at Another Broken Egg Cafe will have plenty of tempting dishes to choose from as the menu features fresh, nutritious southern-inspired dishes. There are six varieties of eggs benedict, 11 gourmet omelette choices, an exceptional signature Bananas Foster over Belgian waffles, French toast or sweet potato pancakes, southern crabstack, biscuit beignets, along with handcrafted burgers, specialty sandwiches and fresh salads. Each meal is carefully prepared to order with the highest quality, freshest ingredients available.

ABEC menu prices range on average from $8 to $15 and for breakfast cocktails, don't miss the Mimosa, or the house specialty Bloody Mary priced at $5.99 each. ABEC mug collectors will also look forward to finding the motif of Jacksonville's state flag with Andrew Jackson on his rearing horse, represented on the hand-thrown stoneware used for coffee service and hot beverages. Jacob Alleman and his business partners, Cody Gielen and John Dan Gielen of Cojak Investments, LLC, currently own and operate existing Another Broken Egg Cafes in Lafayette, LA, New Orleans, LA, Panama City Beach, FL, Orlando, FL, and Tuscaloosa, AL. Alleman worked at Another Broken Egg Cafe for Founder Ron Green while in college in Mandeville, LA and Sandestin, FL. After graduating from Louisiana State University, he opened his first Another Broken Egg Cafe in Lafayette in December 2007, making him Green's first franchisee.
