GTT participates to CCS Seminar in Beijing

Beijing- October 23, 2014. GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz) (ISIN FR0011726835 Euronext Paris: GTT), world leader in the design of membrane containment systems for the maritime transportation and storage of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) announces its participation to the CCS (Chinese Classification Society) LNG Technology Seminar, to be held in Beijing on October 23, 2014.

On this occasion, GTT Chairman and CEO Philippe Berterottière will give a lecture presenting the latest GTT developments for multi-gas transport technology including the application to ethane transport and small-scale shipping solutions.

Further to the design work performed by GTT to demonstrate the suitability of the membrane technologies to carry heavier density liquefied gas, GTT will also receive the CCS AIP (Approval in Principle) certification, for its design of multi-gas carrier vessels.

This event, organized by CCS, is an exceptional seminar, gathering many experts from maritime administration, oil & gas companies, ship-owners, design institutes and shipyards, highlighting the latest updates in the LNG world.

Philippe Berterottière commented: "This is a great honor to be invited by CCS, in order to present our last developments and to meet their experts since GTT is committed to address new segments thanks to the adaptation of its well proven technologies. In doing so GTT is briging very cost effective solutions to the market and is improving continually its membrane designs, with meeting the market requirements and specifications."
