CORFAC International Announces Top Retail Transactions


FALLS CHURCH, Va., Nov. 5, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CORFAC International 2014 President Robert Tillsley, SIOR, is pleased to announce recent retail transactions from U.S. affiliates.

New York, NY -- Robin Abrams and Alan Victor of The Lansco Corporation/CORFAC International represented Brora in the lease of a 1,000-square-foot retail location. Brora operates 15 clothing stores in the U.K. and this is their first retail outlet in the U.S. The store is scheduled to open at 1200 Madison Avenue on November 11.

"Brora explored several markets in the Northeast and ultimately determined that a Madison Avenue store was the ideal U.S. showcase for the brand," Abrams reports. "The lease is part of an ongoing trend of contemporary fashion brands expanding north on Madison Avenue."

The store will be in a large residential building that covers a city block and includes upscale retailers on the ground level. With its signature Scottish Cashmere, Brora makes clothing and accessories for women, men and children. 

San Antonio, TX –Alan Bass of Providence Commercial Real Estate Services/CORFAC International represented a Verizon Wireless franchisee in eight leases, for a total of 13,523 square feet. The deals were located in Anna Plaza in Austin, Buda Town Center in Buda, Westpointe Village Shopping Center in New Braunfels, Bulverde Marketplace Shopping Center in San Antonio, West Lake Hills Shopping Center in Austin, The Shops at Forest Commons in Round Rock, Vista Ridge Shopping Center in Austin, and Sonterra Village Shopping Center in San Antonio.

Las Vegas, NV – Kit Graski and George Okinaka of Voit Real Estate Services/CORFAC International represented ULTA Beauty Salon Cosmetics & Fragrance in a 10,970-square-foot lease with landlord Lake Mead Crossing, LLC. ULTA leased space in the 379,982 square feet Lake Mead Crossing at the corner of Lake Mead Parkway NW and Water Street in Henderson.

Tempe, AZ -- Tyson Breinholt, Trent Rustan and Josh Gosnell of Commercial Properties, Inc./CORFAC International represented the seller of an 11,424-square-foot office/retail building located on the northwest corner of Greenfield Road and Presidio Street in Hewson Dover Business Park in Mesa. A doctor purchased the building from Fisher Holding Company LLC for a little more than $1 million with plans to renovate for use as a medical practice.

Wilmington, DEJoe Latina of Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International represented both the buyer and seller in the $1.35 million sale of a 3,400-square-foot restaurant and bar at 115 East Main Street in Wilmington. Mainline Enterprises, LLC purchased the property from LGLB, Inc. in a sale-leaseback investment opportunity. Currently doing business as 16 Mile Taphouse, the restaurant is affiliated with Georgetown's 16 Mile Brewing Company and boasts an impressive ensemble of craft beers and award-winning wines.

Cincinnati, OH -- Hilary Linnenberg of Henkle Schueler & Associates/CORFAC International represented Enterprise Rent-A-Car in a new 10-year lease at a former bank branch in Cincinnati. Located at 5550 Ridge Road, the 3,200-square-foot retail property is on a 1.3-acre lot. Enterprise is renovating this fall and plans to open by the end of 2014. Henkle Schueler is also representing Enterprise in securing locations in Southwest Ohio's Kenwood, West Chester and Miamisburg markets and is working on a potential new regional headquarters location for Enterprise. 

San Jose, CARyan Warner of Meacham/Oppenheimer CORFAC International represented Tango Holdings LLC in the sale of an 8,103-square-foot retail building located at 1673-1675 W. San Carlos Street in San Jose. See's Candy occupies the store. The buyer was JSR Karp 9.
