Keek First Major Social Video Network to Offer HD

NEW YORK, NY and TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - November 11, 2014) - Keek Inc. (TSX VENTURE: KEK) (OTCQX: KEEKF), a leading global mobile video social media network with more than 71 million members featuring a unique 36 second video format, today announced that it is the first major short-form mobile video network to offer high definition video to its users. The new HD capability is available now as an app update in the Apple App Store. An Android update will be available on Google Play in the coming weeks.

Through the use of HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology, the Keek HD offering ensures the best user experience by automatically determining if there is the proper bandwidth and network coverage to play at HD quality. Implemented by Apple as part of the company's QuickTime, Safari, OS X and iOS software, HLS can automatically adapt the streaming resolution based on the connection quality.
