RICHMOND, VA--(Marketwired - Nov 13, 2014) - Anord Critical Power, Inc., a leading independent provider of critical power infrastructure to the global data center industry, today announced the company has partnered with Critical Components, Inc. (CCI). The new partnership will allow CCI to target mission-critical facilities throughout Georgia, Alabama and Florida with the company's Form 4b Type 7 design AMS switchgear.
CCI is a market leader and preferred power and mechanical equipment provider in the Southeast. The company represents carefully selected manufacturers to enhance power quality for mission-critical data centers. Under the new deal, industry veteran and CCI President, Scott Cockerham will help drive Anord's new sales activities in the regions.
"As the market evolves from standalone facilities to more robust, colocation designs, new partnerships must form to deliver reliable power designs that withstand even the most demanding environments," said John Day, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Anord Critical Power, Inc. "Based on the benefits the LV switchgear technology has brought to our current customer base, we anticipate an immediate interest throughout these new regions."
CCI will promote Anord as an integral element of its multi-million dollar portfolio -- serving as a cornerstone of a comprehensive power infrastructure offering. Cockerham elaborates on the impact this new partnership will have on his customer base.
"To be successful, our customers demand flexible and reliable power solutions that can grow alongside their data centers," said Cockerham. "With its customized switchgear technology, Anord is one of the few companies that can effectively meet the ever-changing power requirements of today's highly-complex data center."
Today's announcement comes on the heels of Anord's recent expansion of its operational team. Earlier this year Anord opened its U.S. headquarters in Henrico County, Virginia, with a $1 million investment focused on developing a full-scale manufacturing facility to introduce the U.S. data center sector to its AMS Switchgear products.
Anord Critical Power's Form 4b Type 7 design AMS switchgear is a compact, fully compartmentalized and robust switchgear product for mission-critical applications. The AMS switchgear allows data centers to invest in superior power system protection, system fault resilience and enhanced operator safety for their facilities.
