NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 19, 2014) - Undertone, a leader in digital advertising solutions for brands, today announced the appointments of Mark Attarian as Chief Financial Officer and George Durden as SVP, Technology.
These key hires serve to further expand the company's management team at a time when both Undertone and the digital advertising industry are experiencing exciting growth and change. Undertone has made significant investments in both leadership and technology in recent months, including the acquisition of programmatic platform Upfront Digital Media (now Virtuoso™) and the additions of CRO Greg Glenday and VP, East Coast Sales Chris McLoughlin.
Mark Attarian brings over 30 years of wide-ranging industry experience in finance, operations, and sales leadership roles. He has managed more than $5 billion worth of transactions, including private and public securities offerings, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings. Prior to joining Undertone, Attarian served as a partner at Tatum, a financial and technology consulting and professional services firm, where he co-led the New England Technology and Private Equity practice groups. He will oversee Undertone's accounting, corporate finance, and business intelligence functions.
Undertone has further strengthened its executive team with the addition of George Durden, who is responsible for the company's product and technology functions in the role of SVP, Technology. Durden is a seasoned software executive, having held Engineering and Product leadership roles at Microsoft, Scientific Atlanta (now Cisco), Liberate Technologies, and Dell Computers. He joined Undertone from Rovi Corporation, where he held the position of EVP & Chief Technology Officer
