MORRISTOWN, NJ--(Marketwired - Nov 26, 2014) - The Junior League of Morristown's (JLM) Nearly New Shop will kick off its Holiday Boutique on Monday, December 1 to commence the holiday season for one of Morristown's oldest retail businesses. Through Saturday, December 13, customers will have the opportunity to shop the Holiday Boutique for brand new holiday gifts items, as well as the entire Nearly New Shop for high-quality men and women's clothing, accessories, housewares, toys, small furniture and other items.
Since its inception in 1961, Nearly New Shop has raised over $1,000,000 in funds to support JLM's mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the lives of those in the Morris area community. This year, the shop will once again partner with ECLC of New Jersey: Non-Profit Schools and Services for the Learning Disabled. Nearly New Shop began working with ECLC in 1995 and has since provided thousands of hours of hands-on training and soft-skills building opportunities for children with learning difficulties, autism and Down syndrome.
"Every Wednesday we bring in two ECLC students to help us run the shop," said JLM Communications Vice President Jennifer Harper. "This is an initiative that is close to many of our hearts, and being able to work with these kids during the holiday season and teach them valuable skills is such a rewarding feeling."
Nearly New Shop is located at 7 King Place in Morristown New Jersey. Daily business hours are from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
