Richard Lee Joins the Firm's New York Office as a Managing Director


NEW YORK, Dec. 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Houlihan Lokey, the international investment bank, today announced that Richard Lee has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Dispute Resolution & Financial Expert Opinions practice within Financial Advisory Services (FAS). He is based in New York.

Mr. Lee has more than 18 years of experience providing forensic accounting, valuation, and financial consulting services, most recently serving as a Partner at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services. Over the course of his career, Mr. Lee has conducted forensic accounting, economic damages, and valuation engagements in hundreds of matters, including breach of contract, intellectual property, employment, ownership, bankruptcy, mergers & acquisitions, and other business disputes. He has served as a consulting and testifying expert and provided expert reports in U.S. federal and state court cases, as well as ICC, AAA, and JAMS arbitrations. He has also performed many business and intangible asset appraisals in a broad range of industries for a variety of purposes, including buyside due diligence, sellside advisory, financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic alternative assessment. In addition, Mr. Lee has worked with a variety of companies on buy-sell disputes involving working capital adjustments, earn-out calculations, and other types of post-closing adjustments.

Mr. Lee holds an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
