Fulcrum Partners Helps Build a Rwandan School Through ValMark Global Gift Fund

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL--(Marketwired - Dec 16, 2014) - In 2015, a group of Rwandan teens will start a new curriculum of study designed to teach hands-on construction skills. Their first project will be building their own schoolhouse. The opportunity to establish the much-needed vocational education high school is made possible, in part, by a recent $10,000 donation from Fulcrum Partners LLC, made through the Global Gift Fund of ValMark Securities.

Kivu Hills Academy will be built in Boneza, Rwanda, a city of roughly 22,000 people. Oversight and direction for the project is being provided by Arise Rwanda, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and faith based organization, founded by John B. Gasangwa. Gasangwa was born in a Rwandan refugee camp and raised in one of the many orphanages founded in the capital city of Kigali after the 1994 Genocide. John now holds an MBA in Global Social Sustainable Enterprise from Colorado State University.
