TORONTO, Dec. 22, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Monday January 26, 2015, CFA Society Toronto will host a half day conference, Getting to Alpha: The Competitive Advantage of Gender Strategy, exploring top analysis on gender diversity and how it correlates to increased financial gain. The topic of women in leadership is quickly progressing from conversational theory to applied competitive strategy. A report by the Credit Suisse Research Institute reveals that, "Since 2005, companies with more than one woman on the board have returned a compound 3.7 percent a year over those that have none."
Leading global investment practitioners will examine recent findings showing that companies with higher gender mix on boards and in senior management exhibit higher returns, valuations and payout ratios. This half-day conference highlights the business imperative of gender diversity as a means to achieving optimal financial results. As the evidence mounts, more investment decision makers will consider diversity in management before allocating their assets.
Event sponsorships and individual registrations are now available for the January 26, 2015 conference.
