LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 15, 2015) - Independent advertising agency Ignited today announced the appointment of award-winning creative Eric Springer to Chief Creative Officer. The new hire is a reflection of the agency's continued investment in top talent. In his new post, Springer will oversee Ignited's entire creative department.
Springer brings over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry, creating award-winning campaigns for top brands including Volkswagen, Levi's, Taco Bell, General Motors and Coors among others. He has won awards at all of the top industry shows such as Cannes, One Show, D&AD, AICP, EFFIEs and Communications Arts. His work is also part of the permanent display in The Advertising Hall of Fame, The Museum of Modern Art and The Smithsonian.
While running the VW account at Deutsch, Springer created the highest rated Super Bowl spot of the year, two years in a row according to Neilson ratings. "Punch Dub" in 2010, and "The Force" in 2011. "The Force" was the most viral video of all time with over 65 million YouTube views and counting. He also helped grow a 15-person start-up into a 400-person machine, leading the agency's transition to digital media, producing fully-integrated digital and viral campaigns on behalf of clients such as Volkswagen, Coors Light and General Motors.
Most recently, Springer held the position of Chief Creative Officer at FCB/West. While running the LA and SF offices, he helped launch Taco Bell's "Live Mas" campaign and land new clients, including Levi's.
