HARTFORD, CONN., Jan. 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Connecticut Children's Medical Center will hold a webinar on fecal transplantation on Monday, January 26 from 12:15-1:15PM. The webinar will be presented by Zev Davidovics, MD of the Division of Digestive Diseases, Hepatology & Nutrition.

Since 2013, Dr. Davidovics has performed this lifesaving treatment on two children suffering from Clostridium Difficile Colitis, with impressive results.
The webinar is designed to help physicians better understand fecal transplantation and how it can be used to treat children with symptoms of gastrointestinal infections and diseases and will include:
• History and brief overview of fecal transplant procedures
