MANHEIM, PA--(Marketwired - Jan 30, 2015) - With explosive growth expected to continue in the food processing industry, Harrington Hoists, Inc. continues to expand their hoist product lines that serve that sector. Jason Said, Business Development Sales Manager, recently appeared on the Industry Visions - Industrial News show to demonstrate the benefits of Harrington's new product offering the "AW" food grade, wash down, air hoist.
"Food processing plant managers have special needs that are critical to their success," he said. "Like any manufacturer, they need efficiency for moving loads and have sanitary requirements that are mandated by food safety laws. Harrington Hoists, Inc. has answered their call for speed and efficiency with our new AW food grade, wash down, air hoist. The incredible sanitary benefit of the AW hoist is that it can be washed down on a regular basis, so it can be kept as clean as the food process its handling."
The hoist is available in 1/2 and 1 Ton capacities and features an unpainted aluminum body, stainless steel and electro-plated external components and lubricants that comply with FDA standards. The AW comes with standard technology such as a self adjusting disk brake, air driven vein motor and hardened load chain. This hoist line is based off of Harrington's "AL" Ex Certified spark resistant and lube free air hoists so the AW can be used with or without air line oil for extreme sanitary environments.
Harrington Hoists, Inc. operates facilities in Manheim, PA, Elizabethtown, PA and Corona, CA. Harrington is a subsidiary of KITO Corporation of Japan and also distributes products in South America under the KITO brand.
