One of the city's biggest events is returning for a second dazzling year to give residents a taste of the luxury lifestyle, and more importantly to raise awareness and money for Bert's Big Adventure children's charity.
The Taste of Speed Jet Port Experience, an evening with a Hollywood red carpet flair that features exotic cars, celebrity chefs, entertainment and more, is scheduled for 7 p.m. to midnight May 2 at Jet Linx Aviation, inside PDK Airport.
Among the highlights will be the Image Rock Live Fashion Show presented by AUDI Atlanta.

For the second year, organizers of the charitable event will transform an airport hangar into a lavishly decorated environment.
"We wanted to bring a little bit of Hollywood to Atlanta," says TV personality Cindy "Rodeo" Steedle, co-creator and executive producer for Taste of Speed.
Steedle, who rose to fame as a contestant on VH1's "Rock of Love," says VIP guests, local celebrities, tastemakers, car enthusiasts and luxury aficionados will indulge in the finest products and services the luxury market offers.
Guests will enjoy specialty prepared cuisine from celebrity chefs, and models will show off diverse styles from high-end clothing designers during the Image Rock Live Fashion Show presented by AUDI Atlanta.
Guests with a need for speed can enjoy a display of exotic cars, private aircraft, custom motorcycles and high-end watercraft.
But the heart of this year's event is Bert's Big Adventure. Established in 2002, Bert's Big Adventure is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.
