CHICAGO, IL and PORTSMOUTH, NH--(Marketwired - March 31, 2015) - Q-Centrix has named Patrick Herguth chief operating officer. Herguth, who brings more than two decades of experience scaling and optimizing organizations within the healthcare and aerospace markets, will report to Milton Silva-Craig, Q-Centrix CEO.
Q-Centrix leads the healthcare quality market by combining its clinical workforce of more than 600 quality information specialists with market-leading technology to surveil, abstract, analyze and improve hospital quality. Herguth has a strong history of scaling businesses throughout his career. He joins Q-Centrix from aerospace services provider, Avidyne. During the last eight years, he was instrumental in transitioning the operations of the organization to a lean and scalable business model through the use of Six Sigma and technology to drive critical process and efficiency improvements. Between 2006 and 2007, Herguth was the vice president and general manager of the medical business unit at Planar Systems. While at the digital display and signage solutions provider, Herguth aggressively expanded profitability while growing the business through material cost reductions, increased price realization, and deployment of technology to drive improved operating performance. Prior to Planar Systems, he played a leading role within the Laboratory and Medication Management Systems division of GE Healthcare Technologies where he developed and deployed strategies to reduce the cycle time in client implementations by 300 percent and achieve a #1 KLAS ranking for the division's product portfolio.
