The transaction generated a 2.5x return for the fund and its co-investors over an 18 month investment period. VCP led the investment in iBwave in 2013 and was accompanied by Farol Asset Management LP, a direct investment arm of New York State Common Retirement Fund which is also one of the larger investors in VCP's Growth Equity Fund.
