New Fiverr App Turns Profile Photos Into Stunning Works From Real Artists

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2015) - Fiverr, the world's largest marketplace for creative and professional services, announces the end of snooze-worthy profile pictures with the launch of Fiverr Faces, a free app for iOS that uses top artists handpicked by Fiverr to create jaw-dropping portraits from anyone's selfie or headshot.

Unlike other caricature-generating apps, Fiverr Faces features a curated collection of artists who will design unique, high-quality portraits of original photos. Buyers can download and share their personalized portrait as a new Facebook profile photo, an Instagram snapshot, a tweet, or as a fun, shareable gift for family, friends and colleagues.

The simple user interface lets users browse dozens of visual and creative styles. Love Picasso or Roy Lichtenstein? Dig impressionism or pop art? Fiverr Faces artists will create a new face stylized according to the Buyer's tastes. Prices start at $10 for delivery within seven days; for an additional fee, Buyers can choose to have their new portraits delivered within 1-3 days. To celebrate the launch of the new app, Fiverr is offering a free Fiverr Faces portrait to the first 500 people who order through the app. 

The Fiverr marketplace for creative and professional services currently spans more than 150 categories, including design, videography, animation, web programming, voiceover talent, and even financial and legal advice. Fiverr Faces marks the company's first independent app launch promoting a single category vertical category.
