Zaandam, the Netherlands, May 4, 2015 - Ahold has repurchased 568,891 Ahold common shares in the period from April 27, 2015 up to and including May 1, 2015. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 17.7660 per share for a total consideration of € 10.11 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 26, 2015.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 4,470,140 common shares for a total consideration of € 81.77 million.
