CAMARILLO, CA--(Marketwired - May 14, 2015) - Sauer Energy Inc. ("SEI") (
This joint association will drive the next phase of electric generation. Both teams spent countless hours over several months matching inverters and charge controllers in real life testing scenarios. SEI plans to debut these highly innovative, next generation of axial flux generators with its WindCutter® model, which can be scaled up to 20 kW for on-grid and off-grid, each requiring different generators.
The expertise of the design and fabrication team for magnets is a key component to building a PMG. As an audited supplier with European ratings, they also have uninterrupted access to Neodymium magnet (NdFdeB), also known as rare earth magnet (the raw material used in magnet production).
There is no off-the-shelf product that is instantly compatible with SEI wind turbines. This is subjective science and generator performance has to be directly calibrated to the performance of the turbine blade, among other things. The design and engineering team has worked in cooperation with SEI's team to jointly develop the PMG for the WindCutter. They plan to rejoin SEI to develop the generator for the WindRider® in the future.
"We are very fortunate to have the engineering and design expertise for this most important project. Our first prototype units are going through the qualification testing both in the lab and on our mobile test platform. The PMG's design performance and quality is in line with our expectations. We are confident in our collaboration and feel we can rely on their technology and manufacturing capabilities going forward," stated Dieter Sauer, CEO and President of Sauer Energy, Inc.
About Sauer Energy Inc.
Sauer Energy Inc. is a technology developer and manufacturer focused on the emerging renewable energy market. In the very near future, SEI plans to offer the patented helixical WindRider model, a vertical axis wind turbine that employs the HelixWind technology it purchased in 2012. The higher performance design modifications are expected to deliver superior results. The WindRider is also pole-mounted, and can be used for applications that don't require roof mounting. SEI has also created the WindCharger brand for a better roof-mounted solution for residential and other small building usage.
SEI's technology is remarkable as it requires so few parts. This means a lower manufacturing cost, more efficient operation, lower maintenance (fewer parts = less chance of malfunction), and greater power generation. This will provide SEI with a new direction for wind capture, making it easier to scale from residential, to powering a small community -- all the way up to large industrial facilities. The market opportunity for this new, self-contained, innovative technology is unlimited and growing rapidly.
With several patents in place and many more pending, SEI looks forward to early manufacturing and commercialization. It is also aggressively moving toward a financial return on its investments. To learn more about Sauer Energy, please visit: www.SauerEnergy.com
