The Chapter 11 proceedings in the US concerning the American subsidiaries (Atari, Inc., Atari Interactive, Inc., Humongous, Inc., California US Holdings, Inc.) were completed on December 23, 2013. As the Group regained control of these subsidiaries on December 24, 2013, they have been reconsolidated since this date.

The Group's revenues therefore include the revenues recorded by the American companies from December 24, 2013.

Paris, May 15, 2015 - ATARI, the global interactive entertainment group and videogame specialist, is releasing its fourth-quarter and full-year revenues for the year ended March 31, 2015.

2014-15 FULL-YEAR REVENUES

The Atari Group's revenues doubled over the year.

Revenues climbed to €7.6 million for FY 2014-15, up from €3.7 million in 2013-14, with production operations relaunched and the first games released since the end of the Chapter 11 proceedings, including RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile and Test Drive, as well as the back catalogue and licensing activities.

2014-15 FOURTH-QUARTER REVENUES

Revenues came to €1.8 million for the fourth quarter of FY 2014-15, compared with €2.0 million for 2013-14, primarily reflecting the schedule for releasing games.

"We are now moving into a new phase to relaunch the Atari Group and brand. Our business, which is picking up again after these years marked by the Chapter 11 proceedings, is still focused on flagship games, including RollerCoaster Tycoon Mobile, which was released during the year, while our licensing business is also being gradually relaunched. This has enabled us to double our revenues by the end of this first year. This is encouraging, considering that other longstanding franchises are currently being developed and will be coming out shortly", confirms Frederic Chesnais, ATARI's Chairman and CEO. "We will continue moving forward with our work to reposition the Atari Group, while taking the financial situation on board. This work, which is naturally focused over the long term, requires us to set very high standards for the quality of our products and the choice of our partners".

GAMES CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION

The Group is currently working on the following releases:

  • ALONE IN THE DARK: ILLUMINATION for PC (solo or multiplayer action and adventure game), in which players need to fight Eldricht's hordes using supernatural illumination powers to defend themselves, survive and complete the adventure.
  • ROLLERCOASTER TYCOON for PC (offline or online, solo or multiplayer game), enabling players to create original theme parks with incredible attractions.
  • PRIDEFEST, an original LGBT-friendly social simulation game enabling players to design and manage their own pride parades.
  • LUNAR LANDER for mobile, the famous lunar landing simulation game that helped build ATARI's success in the past in the arcade game sector and will now delight nostalgic fans of the franchise on smartphones and tablets.
