SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 21, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Vista Solar, a leading Bay Area commercial solar installer, today announced that it will install a 235-kilowatt (kW) solar system for Acosta Sheet Metal Manufacturing, Inc.
"Vista Solar is helping us achieve our goal of eliminating our electric bill and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions," said Randy Acosta, owner of Acosta Manufacturing.
The 235-kW system will offset 98.3% of Acosta's electricity bill, generate positive cash flow savings from day one, and deliver payback in under three years.
"Acosta Manufacturing is a perfect candidate for solar," says Vista Solar senior project developer Brian Brogan. "With heavy equipment to power and a high energy load, we were able to offset their bill by nearly 100%."
Construction will begin at Acosta later this year and take about three weeks to complete. The equipment specified includes high-efficiency Suniva modules and SMA TriPower inverters.
